  • Before Your Appointment

    Shave! It's essential to shave the area you're getting lasered before your appointment. We recommend the night before. Exfoliate your skin the day before treatment to prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid UV exposure for 2 weeks before your appointment (including tanning, tanning beds, self tanning creams) and up to 4 weeks after. Avoid irritant topical agents 2-3 days before treatment. Avoid anticoagulants (blood thinners) prior to treatment if medically possible. Avoid hot showers, pools, lakes, hot tubs, saunas. Make sure skin is clean and free of any moisturisers, perfume, and/or deodorant on treatment areas (a pre-treatment wipe will be provided in some cases). Wear loose, comfortable clothing if possible. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to make sure all necessary pre-treatment forms are filled out.
